DORIAN PROVOST WINS THE RIBOT CUP IN PISA

It had been a good eight years since the Ribot Cup crossed the Alps in the direction of France. The last transalpine victory had been that of Pauline Dominois in 2017. It was Dorian Provost, 20, who made his debut in 2022 and since then has amassed 65 victories and almost one and a half million earnings in three seasons.

On the afternoon of San Rossore, the young French jockey took a victory with Tepui in the first race, a third place with Grey Hurricane in the fourth and a second with Breguet Man in the fifth, eventually scoring 32 points and winning the prestigious trophy reserved for jockeys under 26, created by Enrico Querci.
