SATURDAY APRIL 26TH ALL HORSE RACES ARE POSTPONED ON THE DAY OF POPE FRANCIS'S FUNERAL

No horse racing or other sporting events on Saturday 26th, the day of Pope Francis' funeral. All horse races and events for Italian saddle horses under the jurisdiction of MASAF have therefore been postponed. The decision follows the outcome of today's Council of Ministers meeting, Tuesday 22nd April, and the subsequent circular signed by Undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano.

In observance of the five days of national mourning, all public events, horse races and events reserved for Italian saddle horses in the coming days will be held in a sober manner appropriate to the circumstances.

On Saturday 26, all horse races and events for Italian saddle horses under the jurisdiction of MASAF are postponed.
