ESTROSA IS NOT FOR SALE AND MAX ALLEGRI BECOMES BREEDER

La vittoria di estrosa nel premio Cumani dello scorso 6 ottobre a Milano

Having got over the disappointment of the uninspiring results of last Sunday's Roman expedition (in four races the best result was second place, even though they were the clear favourites with Sun Never Sets), the Alma Racing team headed by Massimiliano Allegri made an important decision. They decided to resist all the temptations of foreign buyers of the stable's top mare, Estrosa, to start her off as a broodmare. A decision that goes against the trend of many local stables that often prefer to sell their best products abroad to make ends meet. The daughter of Sioux Nation was undoubtedly the star of the show in the amaranth red jacket, with 7 wins and 7 placings in 20 races. These include a second place in the Regina Elena (Group 3), fourth in the Oaks and third in the Premio Presidente della Repubblica, earning almost 200 thousand euros in earnings. Now 5 years old, Estrosa will go to Ireland in partnership with the highly decorated Tuscan trainer and Razza Latina. An important stallion will be chosen with the hope of producing a foal with great potential.
