UET BOARD MEETING IN TURIN

On the sidelines of the great day of the Côte d'Azur in Turin, the ‘Board’ of the UET (Union Européenne du Trot) was held on Monday morning.

The meeting opened and closed with applause for MASAF and Hippogroup Torinese for the excellent organisation of the three days offered to UET delegates in Turin, which allowed them to have a memorable experience: experiencing the gastronomic, cultural and landscape excellence of the territory; attending a day of excellently organised races with a very high quality edition of the GP Costa Azzurra (a race that is expected to grow within the circuit as early as next year, thanks also to the geographical location of Turin and the quality of the organisation, attracting more international participants) in a beautiful setting with a good audience and a good show; to get even more in touch with the process of renewal and relaunch of Italian horse racing led by the MASAF's general management for horse racing and with the Italian cultural traditions linked to horses in Italy, as witnessed by the visit to the cavalry museum in Pinerolo, to learn more about the creation of the natural horsemanship method created by Caprilli.

The actual meeting then went into detail with the presentation of the newly elected presidents of the UET Committees and the presentation of their respective work programmes (each committee is expected to hold one face-to-face meeting per year and several online meetings).

A new Marketing Working Group will be set up, which will include communication experts appointed by the various members and will be responsible for coordinating communication on the UET Elite Circuit through its various stages and for studying and developing communication guidelines, through proposals and good practices discussed among the members.

The next Board meeting will be held in Stockholm on 11 October.
